From Colonization to Reconstruction................
We begin our study of American History with the development of the 13 colonies. We discuss why the colonies were settled, by who, and how it impacted the economy of the "Mother Country" as well as the colonies themselves.
The Revolution changes everything. The colonies are now referred to as states and they are on their own. While the world watches, these new United States have to decide if they are ready for the task ahead of them. They learn through trial and error what works and what doesn't work. All the while, the other supper powers in Europe are watching and waiting for the experiment to fail. This is one of the most exciting periods of American History.
